PhysGen workshop - The
Consomic Rat Phenome Project will be held on July 27-28, 2004
The focus on this workshop is to provide an overview of the available
tools and resources to attach physiological traits to the genome.
The goal is to provide investigators with the ability to navigate
the website, utilize the bioinformatics tools available, and discover
the advantages of using consomic rats in their own research in heart,
lung, blood and sleep disorders. This program consists of both seminars
and hands-on training on how to use the PhysGen resources. Click
here for details and registration information.

Sep 14, 2004:
Strain Microrray Reports are now available in the parental,
consomic and congenic strain profiles. Flip dye files were
downloaded directly from the TREX
TIGR PGA. Each file is annotated further with informations:
Log2R, chromosome locations, NCBI UniGene ID, NCBI OMIM ID,
gene symbol, gene description, human homolog, mouse homolog,
locuslink ID, SWISSPROT ID and knockout gene. Click
here for details. |

June 6, 2003:
- Data release 9
is now available. This release contains 27.225 additional physiological
measurements and images, and incorporates SS-YBN/Mcwi
and SS-7BN/Mcwi consomic strains, SS.BN-(D8rat163-D8rat81)/Mcwi
congenic strain, and LE/BluGill. There are now 198,070 physiological
measurements available for analysis. Please click here
to go directly to the data.
- Phenotype Data Download across protocols A
new tool is now available to allow users to download all or part
of the individual rat dataset across protocols. This gives users
great flexibility in sorting the data by phenotypes of interest
within strains of interest. Users are also able to view individual
rat data diet type, for further analysis. Please click
here to go to the download page.
